Dog allergic treatment: Treat From The Root Cause.

This post is written for a reference purpose only for dog allergies treatment and the resources is also from the internet itself. Dog allergies may cause from several reasons. Dog allergies treatment can be treated in many ways. They just like human that may allergic to foods or to the environment. The allergies can be effectively treated after finding out the root cause of the allergic reaction. For example some dogs may only need a fatty acid supplement or just simple diet plan to keep their allergies under control. Usually many animals may have allergies to more than one allergen.

To find out treatment for dog allergies we have to know what is the common allergies that usually dog and any other pets have.

Atopic Allergies
Most common dog allergy is called atopy which means the dog allergy is caused by the airbone particles like dust, mold, dander, pollens, and many other small particles. This allergy has the biggest percentage in canine allergies. Atopic allergy is the highest percentage of dog allergies and it is quite difficult to control over. Atopy can cause ear problems, and scratching around the tail, in the armpit, skin problems, itching and licking of the toes. Flea Allergic Dermatitis. The second higher percentage of dog allergy is flea allergic dermatitis which covered about fifteen percent of dogs with allergies. The allergy can just come from just one fleabite and cause itching for weeks. Dog with feabite allergies can be itch along the tailhead,armpits, and neck region. It may cause skin problems and itching also.This allergy can be treated by using strong lasting flea products like flea shampoos, flea collars and flea products that contains pyrethrins which is good at killing fleas for a few hours for a few days only but fleas may again affect our pets. Food allergy.
The last most common allergy is a food allergy. From all the allergies noted above, food allergies are the easiest type to treat. But this is just only 5 percent from the overall percentage of dog allergies. So this means that only one out of twenty itchy animals suffers from a true food allergy. These allergies show up as scratching at the ears, tail base, and licking at the toes. And animals are usually allergic to three group of food such as beef, chicken, and corn.
